Ciara is in all-out promo mode for new single ‘Body Party’.
With R&B serving as her musical mainstay on her new self-titled album (due July 9th), it was inevitable that a trip to BET’s 106 & Park was in the pipeline.
Naturally, many have been anticipating the stage blazer’s return to the show given ex-boyfriend Bow Wow‘s new gig as a host there. Last night brought with it “the “moment” when Cici stopped by the countdown show to formally introduce the video for ‘Body Party’.

We imagine that wasn’t as awkward a watch as many had anticipated. Still, it was super weird watching Bow interview her about her new “King”, Future.
In any case, solid interview. It’s great to see everything finally coming together with the project. The video is giving the song a sizable boost on both radio and iTunes; and with months remaining until the LP hits stores, there’s also a decent window to launch a follow-up — which we hear might be the Nicki Minaj assisted ‘I’m Out’.

The video was okay… she tries too hard to be s*** and the strip tease was unnecessary, but it was okay. CERROR is fake to me. She’s using her relationship with Future and Janet Jackson’s style to try to succeed in the game and is flopping. Funny how she has this small group of stans who will rep for her on the blogs like they’re a large group. No matter what, she’s going to flop. What happened to “Sorry”? I mean, “Body Party” has been out for a month now and is only #85 on Itunes! She won’t even get a Top 40 on Billboard 100 with this single. The single is okay. I like the production, but she can’t sing and the lyrics suck.
